Infrastructure

NIRAS plays a deciding role in visualising the infrastructure of the future and upgrading the current one to satisfy societal needs.

NIRAS' experts provide consultancy with a strong focus on sustainable solutions on infrastructure and mobility projects across the world.

To ensure the best possible project for our clients, we work in networks — internally as well as externally. In NIRAS, we work across our broad range of disciplines, listen to our clients, and involve the end users to ensure the optimal solutions. We have built strong, international partner networks, which enable us to deliver industry-leading expertise to our projects and follow our clients across international borders.

We cover all stages in these projects, from preparation of master plans and technical and economic analysis to design and planning, supervision, operation and maintenance. Our cross-disciplinary, specialised knowledge enables us to provide a wide range of solutions.

Whether we are 3D-modelling a pedestrian bridge, planning a light railway, making large tunnels, roads or bicycle paths, or designing a crude oil shipping port, more than 300 infrastructure experts are ready to solve the task for the client by combining efforts across disciplines and flexibility with dialogue and responsiveness.

Our aim is always the same: To deliver excellence for our clients and to create sustainable change within society.

Working across

We aim to enhance collaboration between our business units, fostering a culture of open communication and cooperation.

By facilitating knowledge-sharing initiatives, we empower teams to leverage each other's expertise, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization. Through active participation in learning opportunities, we cultivate a dynamic environment where employees continually expand their skills and contribute to the collective growth of NIRAS. Together, we strive to maximize our collective potential, driving sustainable success and delivering exceptional value to the project and our partners.

"Recent year's dramatic climate and geopolitical events have shown us that the need to support climate action is becoming increasingly urgent. It has also become clear that the need to secure clean and independent energy sources has moved from the environmental sphere into the realm of societal stability and global security.

Therefore, we are even more conscious of contributing to creating viable, durable and sustainable solutions that will help our society overcome its challenges. We do so when we work on some of the world's largest offshore wind projects, or when we help to improve green mobility and infrastructure."
