NIRAS continues to strengthen its position within green energy transition by employing Thomas Vadum la Cour as its new market director for Green Fuels. The experienced chemical engineer is specialized in Power-to-X and green fuels, and he has previously held a leading position in Haldor Topsoe A/S.
With the arrival of Thomas Vadum la Cour, NIRAS has added a new sustainable energy expert. The 42-year old market director has previously worked at Haldor Topsoe A/S where has been managing director for the Middle East division and Product Line Director for Small Scale & Modular Solutions.
“With the employment of Thomas Vadum la Cour, we will get another strong capacity who can make an important contribution to our efforts within green energy transition, GREENsition. Thomas has ample experience in developing solutions for Power-to-X and utilising carbon dioxide for green chemicals and clean fuels,” says Thomas B. Olsen, Senior Vice President in NIRAS.
Thomas Vadum la Cour will form an integral part of NIRAS’ GREENsition strategy and he will be leading the consultancy regarding planning and designing production plants for Green Fuels, Power-to-X, hydrogen, etc. both in Denmark and globally.
There is a large potential in this growing industry due to the expected rapidly increasing demands within more sustainable fuels and other substitutes for fossil products.
