- 10 years' work experience, of which at least 8 years in the water and sanitation sector
- Working experience in Africa (preferably East Africa) is required; work experience in Tanzania and knowledge of the national sector context is an advantage
Professional experience required:
- Experience with preparation of Masterplans- and other strategic plans in the water and sanitation sector
- Experience with working-conditions in Tanzania and/or region
- Team leader experience, communication and analytical skills, preferably by leading international and multidisciplinary teams for masterplans and strategic plans or as team leader for project implementation assignments

The Zanzibar Water and Sanitation Masterplans for Unguja and Pemba will guide water resources management and development, and infrastructure development and funding through suitable investment projects in the water and sanitation sector. It is planned that 3 plans shall be developed: Water resources masterplan, Water supply masterplan, Sanitation masterplan.
