Media Development in a Democratic Framework

The overall objective of this capacity building programme is that the participants and their organisations should contribute to the promotion and protection of the institutional frameworks which govern regulation of the media sector. The programme is financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and they have commissioned NIRAS to organise the ITP in cooperation with International Media Support (IMS), FOJO Media Institute/Linnaeus University and Global Reporting Sweden AB.

Eligible countries: Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras

Total duration of the programme: January 2020 - April 2021

Scheduled Courses:
In Sweden: 4-22 May, 2020
and 2 weeks in one of the participating countries, in October,
2021

Eligible countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

Total duration of the programme: May 2020 - June 2021

Scheduled courses:
In Sweden: 7-25 September, 2020
and 2 weeks in in one of the participating countries, in February, 2021

DEAD LINE FOR APPLICATIONS: Extended dead line until 1 May, 2020

 

Media Development in a Democratic Framework - EASTERN EUROPE 2020

Eligible countries: Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova

Total duration of the programme: June 2020 - August 2021

Scheduled Courses:
In Sweden: 12-30 October, 2020
and 2 weeks in one of the participating countries, in March 2021

DEAD LINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 30 April, 2020

Eligible countries: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam
