NIRAS awarded contract to new Incubator Hub in Lincolnshire
We’re pleased to share that NIRAS has been awarded the contract to design the new Incubator Hub at the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone (FEZ), in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council and Gleeds.
The aim of the project is to support food and beverage startups—giving them the space and facilities they need to take their first step into commercial production. Whether it’s renting a test kitchen for a day or securing a longer lease in a dedicated food production unit, this hub will provide a major boost for local entrepreneurs.
The experience of the NIRAS team, along with our market research and concept building design, played a key role in shaping the business case and securing funding for this ambitious project.
“We’re delighted to be working on such an important initiative with Lincolnshire County Council and our project partners at Gleeds,” said Chris Sparrow, Director of Architecture for NIRAS Group (UK). “Supporting Food & Beverage startups in Lincolnshire is vital for innovation and growth, and we’re proud to play a part in making it happen. Huge thanks to Lincolnshire County Council for their vision and support.”
This project is also a significant step for NIRAS, as we are now part of the Perfect Circle Framework. Having already worked with Gleeds as project manager and quantity surveyor, we look forward to new opportunities to collaborate on future innovative projects.
