DFID’s Partnerships for Forests (P4F) – an 8-year grant and technical assistance programme – brings together the public and private sectors and communities to catalyse increased private investment in sustainable forestry and ‘zero-deforestation’ agriculture. P4F also supports measures that strengthen demand for sustainable commodities and activities to create the right enabling conditions for sustainable investment.
LTS-NIRAS is supporting the P4F team and DFID in the design and implementation of an evaluation and learning framework that generates evidence to support learning and adaptive management.
The LTS-NIRAS team is responsible for implementing the Evaluation & Learning framework at the outcome level of the programme, ensuring learning across programme activities, and supporting adaptive management and knowledge management within P4F.
MEL tasks carried out by LTS-NIRAS:
- Development of a programme evaluation and learning framework, in consultation with DFID and the P4F facility;
- Development of a baseline to support future evaluation of programme outcomes and impacts;
- Implementation of an evaluation and learning framework for P4F programme activities.
