NIRAS Young Professional Academy will be further expanded this June with new participants representing both development consulting profiles and profiles representing other sectors of NIRAS.
NIRAS international trainee program for future development consultants, NIRAS Young Professional Academy (NYPA), has since its kick-off in been a great success and investment.
Due to this, the program has now been extended as well as expanded, now offering spots to other profiles aspiring to work on international projects within all sectors of NIRAS such as water supply, marine engineering, food and beverage production and buildings and architecture.
Nine months after initiating the second NYPA team (NYPA 2017-2019), NIRAS has greatly benefited from this group of ambitious and fast-developing talents, trained in tendering and consultancy.
The two-year program provides participants with dedicated education in a mix of theoretical and practical modules.
The current participants have recently attended courses for about one month in Belgrade, where the program is based. They are now practicing at various offices worldwide as well as in the field, before returning to Belgrade for more theory again in September.
Due to the success it has been decided to further expand the NYPA programme by calling for applications again. After choosing the new group of participants, NYPA 2018-2020 will commence on June 4th in Belgrade.
The new group is expected to consist of up to 20 participants and to include a new type of participant, representing other business sectors of NIRAS such as water and waste water, urban planning and marine engineering. A spot at the program will increase participants’ understanding of international sales and management of projects.
NYPA 2018-2020 is open for applications focusing on other sectors of NIRAS than development consulting until March 18th.
