AEClaboratory

The AEClaboratory was established in 1983. The AEClaboratory delivers consulting services in material technology within in a variety of different areas such as testing of building materials, damage analyses, condition surveys and repair methods among other.

The AEClaboratory is equipped for making mortar- and concrete samples, for mechanical as well as accelerated testing, for measuring directly on structures, sample-taking from structures and have equipment for fabricating polished sections and thin sections for structural analysis as well as a climatic test cabinet.

The AEClaboratory makes an effort in presenting an impartial reporting and to use the latest know-how and experience in the current working area. The AEClaboratory naturally handles all cases with confidentiality.

The AEClaboratory is a department that is specialized in material technology, and serve as specialist consultant for building owners, consulting engineers, contractors, suppliers of materials and other parties in the construction industry. 

Reporting
The results of the performed tests are delivered in a test report that describes the test procedure and the test results. If a detailed assessment and/or interpretation of the test results is wanted, this can be commissioned in the form of a laboratory report or in short form of a note in connection with the test report.

The AEC laboratory staff publishes from time to time relevant subjects in articles, lectures etc. Data and knowledge from test cases amongst other things can anonymously create the base for the publication. In cases where the data may be recognized despite the anonymity, the client will be asked before a potential publication.

The reports from the AEClaboratory are in Danish or in English.
