NIRAS continues to focus on Norway by acquiring Oslo Prosjektadministrasjon, a construction and project management company.
Throughout the past four years, NIRAS has experienced a significant progress in the Norwegian market regarding both acquirements and employments, with the latest acquirement being Oslo Prosjektadministrasjon AS.
Since 1989, the company, containing 10 employees, has been working with project, Construction and design management, alongside project development, for public and private clients in Oslo and the surrounding suburbs.
“A lot of their customers are private clients, who returns time and time again, whenever they have new projects. This is a clear proof that Oslo Prosjektadministrasjon delivers services of high quality, which, of course, makes it especially attractive for us to obtain ownership,” says Janne Aas-Jakobsen, managing director for NIRAS’ Norwegian activities.
She underlines the fact that it is the company’s strengths and experiences, concerning construction and project management, that should be developed for a green conversion and digitization of construction in Norway.
“With NIRAS as owners, we here have the opportunity to offer our customers a more broad spectrum of services, better capacity and a more professional base of knowledge,” states Terje Inglingstad, who is the director of Oslo Prosjektadministrasjon.
He and Kjell-Are Bakke founded the company back in 1989.
Growth through acquisition
NIRAS established itself in Norway back in 2012 by acquiring the two companies, SMI and Promitek. The ambitions of growth through acquirements now continues with Oslo Prosjektadministrasjon on the team, and will, according to Janne Aas-Jakobsen, not end here.
NIRAS now has 65 employees in Norway.
