Natural Resource Management for Sustainable Development

This aim of this Danida Fellowship Centre course is to improve participants’ abilities to plan for and bring about positive change, and thereby strengthen their respective institutions.

The emphasis will be on practical insights and tools that are relevant to the challenges faced by participants in their jobs.

The course will consist of lectures, field trips and group work.´

It will focus on best practices, ranging from techniques and technologies to awareness raising and community organization.

Sharing national experiences among participants will be coupled to a review of global trends and developments.

Danish expertise in natural resources management will be highlighted in field trips and visits to relevant institutions.

The course is organised by NIRAS in cooperation with the Nordic Agency for Development and Ecology (NORDECO).
