NIRAS has extensive experience with environmental management national as well as international. Our approach is to provide strong project management in close dialogue with the customer throughout the process. This includes solution-oriented strategies, management and monitoring of consultants internal and external, management of consultation with regulators, close monitoring of budget and time schedule and a robust risk management system.

We develop environmental management systems to a specific project or a specific company. For the specific needs we design appropriate systems and make sure that the system complies with existing Quality Assurance (QA), management and regulation systems. We ensure agreements on time schedule and budget, and we develop appropriate monitoring programmes. Furthermore we offer and carry out training and manage work shops.

Our Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policy is based on the requirements of ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. In most cases a QHSE plan will be adjusted to the scope of work and the needs of the customers.
