Logistic and Interfaces

A long involvement in offshore projects has given NIRAS the valuable knowledge that logistic planning and interface management has to be implemented from the beginning of the project.

During the development phase and construction phase the individual work packages are normally handled in-house by different work groups and maybe also by use of external resources e.g. consultants. The risk of project delay and actual loss on the financial budget due to lack of communication and logistic understandings between the individual packages can be quite severe.

We have developed a detailed interface management system which is easy to implement in the specific project and with respect to the customer’s requirements.
