We have worked with major Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) development projects for more than 15 years. We have in house competences covering the specific issues in the EIA process, including management and technical skills. Our main fields of expertise cover baseline investigations and modelling, mitigation measures, monitoring programmes, authority negotiations, legal framework etc.
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) study is initiated to identify significant impact from the wind farm on abiotic issues (e.g. noise, shadow flicker (onshore), sediment movement (offshore)), biological issues (e.g. ornithology, protected species (onshore and offshore), marine mammals (offshore), benthos (offshore) and human issues (e.g. land use, visual impact, archaeology).
Our main technical services cover the biological environment, the physical environment and the human environment.
