Scope
NIRAS has substantial experience with Due Diligence, identifying
environmental risks in the takeover of both industrial production
facilities and office buildings.
The elements of the environmental part of a Due Diligence mainly involve
the assessment of:

Compliance with existing and future legislation and regulations

Necessary investments in cleaning or preventive measures
Flexible solutions
At the customer’s request the due diligence may be performed in accordance
with international guidelines e.g. EBRD's Environmental Audit, EU's
EIA directive. Based on our experience we may supplement the guidelines as
necessary to cover all significant environmental issues for specific
branches or enterprises. The scope and approach can be diversified from a
screening to a thorough Due Diligence, depending on the customer's
needs.
Short notice
NIRAS has the ability and organisational capacity to perform a thorough Due
Diligence by experienced staff at short notice and within a limited time
frame. Confidentiality is assured under all circumstances.
