Consultant to the Danish government

NIRAS has been a consultant to the Danish government on the Joint Implementation (JI) and Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol since 2001, when it was decided that part of the Danish CO2-reduction commitment should be achieved through investments in CO2-reduction abroad.

Our JI and CDM services include the translation, interpretation, and clarification of legal texts as well as the production of operational guidelines and manuals for use in capacity building, institutional development and in JI and CDM projects – in Denmark and across Eastern Europe.
