PrintConcrete and Structures

Due to having its own concrete laboratory – The AEClaboratory – NIRAS’s structural and material science
engineers have been involved in several projects for rehabilitation of
concrete structures all over the world.
NIRAS staff carries out all necessary preliminary studies, condition
surveys as well as assessment of load carrying capacity.
In NIRAS we combine our expertise of concrete technology with bridge
design, railway technology and environmental management as well as water
supply, traffic planning and other engineering sciences.
Based on many years of experience NIRAS can work out projects based on
known technologies. In addition to this we are always able to use new
and advanced technologies, as NIRAS actively participates in research
and development projects.
Among other, our experience with condition survey and rehabilitation
include the following types of structures:
-
Bridges
