PrintNIRAS involved in winning distinguished prize for Copenhagen Business School’s Kilen
On 23rd June 2006 Kilen in Frederiksberg received the distinguished RIBA
Award 2006 from the Royal Institute of British Architects. In their account
the panel of judges referred to the building’s ”exceptional architecture.”
Kilen is part of the Copenhagen Business School’s extension in
Frederiksberg. It was designed by Lene Tranberg from Lundgaard &
Tranberg Arkitektfirma A/S. NIRAS was the engineer for the project. Kilen
is characterised by an elegant facade with adjustable panels that can
control the amount of sunlight entering the building and simultaneously
lend a distinctive visual peculiarity to the building.
