Modelling with Mouse, Mike Urban, Samba and Aquis
MOUSE, MIKE URBAN and SAMBA
We carry out hydraulic capacity analyses using MOUSE, Mike Urban and SAMBA.
Hydraulic calculations are an important part of the decision-making process on sewer rehabilitation, climate adaptation, protection against water in basements and recipient protection. We have thorough knowledge of the national functional practice, including the laying down of service level.
In calibrating the hydraulic models we offer to carry out measurements with modern measuring equipment, such as flow and level meters. We thereby ensure that the models present an accurate picture of facts and thus an increased security of the decision-making process when the client is to make a decision about establishing new facility parts.
AQUIS
For a number of years, NIRAS has constructed and used water distribution network models for a large number of large and small waterworks. The models are based on existing mapping (GIS) and existing FAS. The models are calibrated so as to verify the reliability of the model, and subsequently the models have been used for setting up a renovation strategy for the water distribution system.
Through recent years we have extended this service, bringing the models online in AQUIS Drift. By connecting the water distribution network model with the SCADA system an even greater overview is achieved and it will be possible to predict future situations.
