NIRAS creates master plans for municipalities, private enterprises and entire countries.
We assist in drawing up unified and integrated strategies and action plans, based on broad analysis of all relevant information, ranging from social to environmental and economic issues. Master plans typically include analysis of key figures and structures, interviews with primary decision-makers (politicians / directors), the business community, education and cultural institutions. In doing so, we organise seminars and other implementation initiatives.
NIRAS draws up site master plans for enterprises with large land possessions. The site master plans are to ensure that the enterprises are prepared for crucial decisions and investments that have physical consequences; and they are to constitute the physical plans that future-proof investments.
NIRAS has also drawn up a physical master plan for the country of Iraq. The master plan was developed for the Iraqi Ministry of Planning as a means for future development, after the Coalition withdrew from the country in August 2010.
