NIRAS Informatics has won a tender from Denmark’s largest wastewater centre, Lynettefællesskabet I/S, for the delivery of a new SCADA system.
NIRAS is to deliver the entire SCADA system, i.e. application software and hardware as well as a design manual that will form the basis of the future design and structure of screen displays, symbols, etc., of the Lynetten sewage treatment plant.
Lynetten is in the process of upgrading the sewage treatment plant’s PLC’s from the existing S5 Simatic PLC’s to S7 Simatic PLC’s as well as establishing a new oven plant. Concurrently with this, NIRAS is to upgrade the SCADA system on a continuous basis.
