Since 1990, NIRAS has conducted more than 200 in-depth investigations of soil and groundwater pollution with chlorinated solvents, typically at former dry-cleaning sites and industrial sites.
Over the last decade, an increasing number of the investigations have been carried out using our GeoProbe based investigation strategy. Furthermore, various levels of risk assessment have been completed, and for more than 50 sites, NIRAS has carried out detailed planning, design, contracting, and supervision of various remediation activities.
