Access to sufficient energy is an obstacle to development in many countries. Renewable energy is a clean alternative for input to the national grid or as a provider of decentralised energy supply, particularly in rural areas.
NIRAS covers a wide range of energy services, including planning, managing funding schemes, public – private energy partnership programmes, energy efficiency for the industry and buildings as well as energy audits.
NIRAS has technical expertise within various renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, hydro, biomass, biogas and biofuel.
In order to strengthen our international position within the energy market, NIRAS has established RCEE-NIRAS, a Vietnamese-Danish Joint Stock Company for providing consulting services within Energy Efficiency and Conservation, energy audits, advise and promotion of renewable energy including biogas and solar energy systems.
