Anti-corruption and code of ethics

NIRAS provides independent, objective and impartial consultancy services and has defined codes of ethics and conduct that apply to the whole company. Corruption, fraud, concealed agreements, irresponsible behaviour and any other type of behaviour that conflicts with our ethical code are not tolerated in our business activities.

The NIRAS Business Integrity Management System is a tool used in-house to promote the prevention of corrupt behaviour and encourage integrity. The system consolidates NIRAS' commitment to both a code of ethics and a code of conduct and enables us to put these codes into practice on behalf of all of our stakeholders.

NIRAS' business integrity policies are in line with the recommendations of the OECD and the instructions of FIDIC. Moreover, they are documented, implemented communicated both in-house and to the outside world and are publicly available on this website.

The procedures specified conform to generally accepted "best practices" and emphasise ethical behaviour towards all of the company's stakeholders: clients, suppliers, owners, employees and society in general. These procedures are implemented according to terms similar to those applied to the NIRAS quality management system and they comply with the requirements of EN/ISO 9001quality management standards.
